nullclady-small.jpg

On Thursday January 27, 2011 the Chess Lady surprised Garwood Elementary third graders in Rathdrum Idaho with visit. The Chess Lady observed how excited students were about learning through the First Move program.

When the Chess Lady asked one little girl what her favorite thing about chess was, the student replied “I love chess because it helps me strategize.” What a testament to the program and her teacher!

Students also participated and learned the A.P.E. (Analyze, Plan, Execute) dance with the Chess Lady.
